Rinse and fill the large test tube to the 25 mL mark with your hot tub water.
Add 2 drops of R-0007 Total Alkalinity Indicator and swirl to mix.
Add 5 drops of R-0008 Total Alkalinity Reagent. Swirl to mix. Sample should turn GREEN.
Add R-0009 one drop at a time, swirling after each, until color changes from GREEN to RED.
Your alkalinity is balanced! (Ideal: 80-120 ppm)
